PRESIDENT’s COMMENTS: Hope that you all had a wonderful and a Very Merry Christmas and did enjoy a Wonderful New Year’s Celebration:
First, and foremost the budget requires a good review:
1. Storage Unit - citywide $513.00 a year versus VFW at this time, the cost annually is unknown, Temperature Control, Access. VFW appears to be a container airtight approximately 42'x92” subdivided into storage spaces that required each area to be locked and is only accessible when the VFW is open like citywide.
2. We WILL review the budget again for any problem areas.
3. I congratulate all of you for studying this budget even it is a small budget, but it is our budget. And all organizations need a budget. Our 2017 year has proven just how effective this is. I am proud of all of you, and I salute you; as we look forward to 2018 and not afraid to show others how to do things.
Your - President Richard (Dick) Trow.
