PRESIDENT’S COMMENTS: Hope you all had a superb Memorial Day and honored all veterans. Our last meeting everyone was willing tohave a Recruiting Table at Central Mall, and it was great to hear.   Buthow many of you are willing to devote a couple of hours speaking withvisitors about our organization? You are the reason for Chapter 16, andthe reason that the officers you have elected to keep trying to expand themembership numbers.  Working a recruiting table requires wear ofTREA uniform to SHOWS YOUR SUPPORT FOR TREA CHAPTER16, and THAT YOU ARE PROUD.  I cannot think of anyone other thanOfficers, and Past Officers being the only ones to volunteer to workrecruiting table.  At the Fort Riley Retiree Appreciation Day (RAD) lastyear, I had to man the recruiting table the whole time except for about anhour. I had purchased a RAD meal ticket and did not get to use it. In2016, at Central Mall, and past RADs, only the officers, relieved me.For three Years, I have attended the RAD and have missed 80-90% ofthe Program. THE POINT IS THAT YOU ARE CHAPTER 16, ANDYOU ARE THE ONES THAT ARE THE BEST RECRUITERS OFALL. YOU ARE THE BEST TO GET THE RECRUITMENT UP,"YOU AND YOU ALONE.”  So when you say you want a recruitingtable be ready to say; “I WILL MAN THE TABLE, AND I WILLRECRUIT."  ARE YOU THAT PERSON???

Proud to be your President, R.T.TROW (Dick)
