Tidbits from the November meeting. The

November 8

th

meeting was a great success.

There was a nice dinner, gift drawing, and

auction.

According to the press release from Kansas

Senator Moran’s office, the Senate Veteran’s

Affairs Committee was alerted that 875 files sent

to the VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System

had gone missing. The files go back to June 11,

2024, and have medical documents, care

referrals, authorizations for care and other

information.

Senator Moran recommends veterans who are

concerned that the issue could’ve caused delays

in their care to contact the VA care team. He said

if a veteran needs more assistance, they can

contact his office at

https://www.moran.senate.gov/public/index.cfm
