PRESIDENT’S COMMENTS: I am very Grateful to be your President, but we have a lot of things we must get accomplished before 2019.  Now for the record, our Vice President Bill Whitman will remain in office but is presently experiencing some Medical Issues, which places him in a situation of limited mobility. His wife Anita is in long-term care at the Minneapolis Good Samaritan Center, KS where Bill's mother had stayed.  I am thinking of how we can assist. And at present, I can only ask that we pray for Bill and stand ready for him and his delightfulWife.  17-Oct-2018 at the Senior Center Fried Chicken is on the Menu, and Nelson Newell has spoken with the Director of the Senior Center, and she approved for us to have a recruiting table before and during lunch. It is the Wednesday after our Friday meeting. All we need are volunteers to assist. I told Nelson that I felt we should have 4-5 people at the table. Nelson has done a terrific job of recruitment, and I look at this as a Salute to Nelson. At our October meeting, I will have something that I feel I must share with all of you. Your Humble Servant, Dick Trow President CH-16 TREA
