PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS: I am thankful to the members who promised to show up at the Mall and did so and those that stopped by.As most of you know, the Mall is not as busy (lack of shoppers) as itused to be, and it looks like a lost cause. We have two things going forus; our lead Recruiter (Nelson Newell) who is very active at the SeniorCenter verified a point, and Shirley proved a point. For case in point, when Shirley showed up and sat down at the table in the Mall Ladiesnotice us and visited our table. So, with Nelson working the SeniorCenter and Shirley attracting the Ladies let’s try something new. Let’sstart with the Senior Center a recruiting table staffed with our Ladiesand Gentlemen of our remarkable chapter who will speak freely aboutour Chapter and just what we do along with the possibilities of otheractivities. We must put on our thinking caps. I know you can solve thisRiddle. HOW DO WE RECRUIT When NO ONE SEEMS TO BEINTERESTED? Things that are important is the Location; the SeniorCenter is Fantastic; our informational material is Honest and StraightForward, and the Members are Great. So we have the means and abilities to go for it. I am Proud of You all.

Your President, Dick Trow
